Friday 5: My Ezibuy home wishlist

After a couple of weeks hiatus due to the school holidays, work craziness, general life and insert other excuses here getting in the way I thought I would ease back into it with something a bit different.

You may have caught in my Instagram stories the other week that I won a $100 Ezibuy credit for posting a reel that featured one of their duvet covers. I thought it would be a bit of fun to share my top 5 Ezibuy home picks. Just so you know this post is in no way sponsored by Ezibuy I am just one of those people who spend my evenings looking at home and décor items racking up wishlists all over the internet. My top tip with Ezibuy is to keep an eye out for their sales and similar to Briscoes don’t ever buy things at full price!

1.       Hamptons stiped linen duvet cover set

First up I love proper linen bedding and when can you go wrong with a classic stripe? I brought the cloud stripe version a while ago when it was 50% off. It always looks good and it would be perfect if you wanted a costal or as the name suggests a Hampton vibe. Now I coveting the moss striped one; I am really into the olive-green tones at the moment and think it would go perfectly with the vibe in the rest of my house. If you are not a stripe lover, they do it in plan colours too, my favourite colours of those are the fox or chalk tones.

2.       The ribbed plush throw in milk or latte

It says it’s a best seller and I am not surprised; it feels very on trend and with the ribbed detail and plush finish. This would add some great texture to your living room and looks snuggly for an evening on the couch! Updating throws and cushions are a great way to bring the latest on trend elements into your home without over doing it or having to spend too much. The hardest part is picking between the milk or latte colourways. They also have some matching cushions if that is more your style.

3.       Alden Glass Lamp

Ezibuy has a couple of lamps I don’t disklike, I do consider myself rather fussy at times. It was hard to pick between the Alden Glass Lamp and the Tidal Desk Lamp. While I do need a desk lamp for the office, I landed on the Alden lamp as it feels a lot more classic. To bring your home styling together I believe you need a balance between old and new and trendy and classic. If you are leaning towards a more modern take I would go with the stone colour option, coloured class is definitely having a moment and I’m here for it.

4.       Vichy Duvet Cover Set

Gingham is popping up everywhere at the moment across both fashion and interiors. I put this on the list as I already have it in the slate for the guest bedroom and in pink for Hannah’s room (they no longer have the pink option). It easily adds come colour and pattern to a room while being on trend and classic at the same time. I do wish they did it in a beige or tan tone. I also wish they had them in smaller kids bed sizes too as I would totally buy them for the bach bunk beds if they did.

5.    Hampton linen curtain

Yes I am a fan of linen if you haven’t guessed already. Linen curtains have been popular for a while now and I think they are still a great option to add some texture and evaluate blinds while still being light and airy. I personally purchased some of these curtains a few years ago for our master bedroom. The problem is that I am still trying to convince my husband on them. If you have a much more agreeable husband than mine and somewhat standard size windows then these could be a pretty and affordable option.

One thing I will say is that sometimes I have lots of Ezibuy home items on my wishlist but at the moment their home options feel a little bit lacking. I did also consider the linen cushion – just because cushions are just fun, the Ray side table – I just thought it was pretty but I am not a fan of furniture from Ezibuy and finally the gourment kitchen granite mortar and pestle. – while this would look cute on my open shelves the reality is I will nevre use it.

Hope you enjoyed a bit of home interiors shopping talk. Let me know your feedback and if you think I should I do more of these for other NZ home shops?

Friday 5: The things I would do differently if I was building again
